Reflection questions

      The strongest part (visual area) of my finished art piece is the extremely the different pieces of the body parts from different animals that I put on the cow, because I feel that every body part I used on it gives to the original picture a feeling of experience something different. The part of my art piece that can be improve on is the way the neck looks, because it almost looks like if the neck wasn't part of it. It can be improve on by blending it more and adjusting a little bit more the zebra's picture. The tools I used to create my work were the clone​ stamp which helped me to clone some parts to delete the original part that I wanted to delete, the layer mask which helped me to hide layers, the brush tool that helped me to paint over the images, he magic wand tool that helped me to select some areas to paint later, etc.

     The thing that was easy about this art activity was to choose the animals I wanted to use to create this work because it was easy for me just to think in what I wanted to create. The difficult part about this art activity was to blend some parts of the animals and to use the clone stamp because I never used it before so it was a challenge for me.

     I demonstrate the goals of this activity in the way that I used 3 animals, I followed the instructions of the tools that i had to used for this assignment and I gave the best of myself by playing all I could with those 3 animals. If I could do this assignment again I would do different the way I used the magic tool on that because I made some mistakes by painting over the original picture that I couldn't fix. On a scale from 1 to 10 I would rate myself a 10 because I really gave the  best of myself in this project and I did all I could to make it worth it and to make it looked realistic and I know I did some mistakes but those mistakes are what makes my project worth it and unique.

    The strongest visual part of  my finished art piece is the color contrast it has, because my art piece is made of different colors at the same time, making it interesting for the people's sight. The part that can be improve on of my finished art piece is mix of the color I used in some parts where the light colors are mixed with the darker ones, In the way it can be improve on is by keeping a type of color for example if it is light with the lights and if it is dark with the dark.  

     The tools I used to create my work were; the brush tool with I used for paint, the move tool, which I used to move the images, the layer mask to hide the layers, the magic wand tool to select the specific parts i wanted to select, the image adjustment to change the color, contrast etc, the filter gallery to put filters on my images , etc. The easy part about this art activity was to select the colors i wanted to use on my piece, because it was easy for me just to try a color and take it off if i considered it wasn't good to be on my piece. The difficult part about this art activity  was to use the magic wand tool at the beginning because it was my first time working with it. 

     The way I demonstrate the goal of this activity was by using the magic wand tool to select the parts i wanted to select, I used the color gradient to change color, I used image adjustment to change the color and the contrast of it, etc. Basically I tried to follow all the instructions for it. In the way the magic tool was useful in creating my art work was that it helped me to select specific parts that i wanted to be select to apply a different color or texture. The thing i did to create my portraits unique is that I used a mix of all my favorite colors in one place, which means that this portraits reflect one little part about my personality. On a scale from 1 to 10 I would rate myself a 10, not because 10 is the best, it is just because I tried so hard to make it looks unique and creative, colorful like i want the things to be, because that makes me happy.

     The strongest part about my finished art piece is the composition I created with the pictures I chose to make this project, because I feel like every single one of these pictures give life to the whole picture. The visual area of my art piece that can be improve on is the way that my background looks, it just the way it is makes it unrealistic. The tools I used to create my art piece were: the layer mask, which I use it to hide my layers, the brush tool, which I used to paint my images, the color gradient (specifically the black and white) who had a fundamental part when I wanted to paint my clone and erase something,  the opacity, that helped me to locate the image in the closet way I could and the  move tool that help me to move my image, etc.

           The thing that was easy about this project was to choose the images I thought were more appropriate and had a hard chance to upstage another image, because for me was easy to just look at one picture and say that I wanted that one because I thought that in despite it was a creative image, it was actually a good one. The difficult part about this project was to paint every single image in the layers, because I had to be careful with each one of them and I had to be sure that my picture was looking realistic.

           I demonstrate every goal of this activity by respecting the directions I had to follow, I made it realistic, I had 5 clones in the same picture, I lighted up my background using the correctly tools and I tried to be careful to not upstage images. If I could do this project again, I would change the amount of clones I have, instead of 5 I would had made it more to make it looks more interesting and catchy. On a scale from 0 to 10 I would rate myself a 10 not because 10 is the best score it's just because I spent a lot of time trying to make it looked realistic and interesting, I spent a hard time trying to be careful with each layer and I feel like I really did the best of me in this assignment.

Artist Reflection

     The strongest part of my finished art piece is the color contrast it has, because it contains different color mixes that can easily catch someone's attention. The part that can be improve on in my art piece is the symmetry. It can be improve on by being careful the next time I'm planning to create something that requires to be symmetric. 

          The tools I used to create my art piece were: the view guides tool, Basically I used this tool to create my rulers before starting my work. I used the polygon lasso tool and with it I just cut a part of the images I took into a triangle. With the free transform tool I play with my triangle, rotating, skewing, etc. I used the Elliptical marquee tool to make a circle in the middle of my image for later put a different color on it. The image adjustment tool helped me with the color and the different contrast of my images and also the filter and the filter gallery tool helped me to create some cool filters that could help me to make my project interesting. I used also the pen tool sometimes when I wanted to create a shape in the image for later create amazing things with it. The easiest part of this art activity was to take a image that I took and then put the rulers on it. That was the easiest part because it was easy to do and because after that on the things got more complicated.

      The difficult part of this art activity was to find a way in which all the ideas I had on mind could be represented with the same image by using differents designs. How I demonstrate each goal of this activity is in the way I respect the rule of thirds, I used my time wisely thinking how could I improve and make better my work; I made it unique, with the own ideas that I had on mind since the day I started thinking how could I do my project. If I could do this assignment again, I'd do different the way I mixed my dark colors with the light ones.  On a scale of 1-10 I would rate my effort with 10, not because 10 is the best, is just because I really worked and tried hard in my project. I spended days thinking how can I improve it and asking for help and I'm really happy with what I created because it was a product of all the effort I made.

                                        Reflection questions.

    The strongest part of my finished art piece is the color contrast. I think that because when I created my art piece, I played with different colors and contrast of all of them making my art piece flashier for the eyes of the people. The part of my art piece that can be improved on are those mistakes I made when I was using the brush tool that I couldn't solve them. The tools I used to crated my art piece are: The move tool, the brush tool (b), the gradient tool, the blur tool, the marquee tool (specifically the rectangular marquee tool), the text tool, the healing brush tool, the transform tool and the filters.

     I used these tools in these ways: first, I went to color gradient and I changed the color contrast that I wanted, and then I did a line to create my color background. With the text tool I typed the letter that I wanted and changed the size of it and then with the marquee tool I select the letter and moved it with the move tool in the place that I wanted the letter to be. With the transform tool I played rotating, skewing and inverting the letters. After all of that, I used the brush tool and went to the gradient tool and selected a color to use and paint the letter inside. I used the healing brush tool to correct some mistakes that I did while I was painting. With the blur tool I created opacity in one of my butterflies making my butterfly looks like something weird but fascinating among the rest of my composition, and finally I went to gallery filter and chose the filter that I thought it'd be better for my background and I chose another filter to be inside of the butterfly in which I used the blur tool. The thing that was easy about this art activity was to create the letter and change its size, because all I had to do was to go into the text tool, type the letter, change the size that I wanted and then write the letter on the mark.

     How I demonstrated each goal of this activity is in the way I respected the rule of thirds, I used my time wisely thinking and creating something special for my composition, and I made it unique with the ideas that I had on mind since the first day I started thinking how I'd wanted that my project would look like. I'd do differently the way I placed and I created my composition. Maybe I could have done something different that could attract more the eyes of some people. I would rate my effort with a 10, not because 10 is the best number, it's just because I really made everything that I could and I spent all the afternoons watching tutorials that I thought could help me to do my project better. I did everything that I could and I feel happy about it, because I really like my project and what I did, and  for being the first time using Photoshop I'm really proud about myself and what I created.
